According to a report by Financial Times, a group of international banks is working on a financial package to support OpenAI’s global expansion plans. The deal involves a credit allocation of approximately $38 billion. This funding will not be provided directly to OpenAI but rather to its key partners.
The credit is expected to be distributed particularly between Oracle Corporation and Vantage, a company engaged in the construction of data centers. The primary goal is to build high-powered data centers for OpenAI. The computational power required to develop AI models is increasing day by day. Therefore, the company has a significant need to expand its existing infrastructure and acquire new servers.
This move further highlights the strategic importance of infrastructure investments in the technology sector.
