In 2025, the Turkish startup Loops AI, founded in Istanbul by İlker Selim Zorluoğlu, Ari Nazir, and Yusuf Bahadır, secured investment from a16z Speedrun. The financial details of the investment have not yet been disclosed. It should be noted that a16z Speedrun is part of Andreessen Horowitz, the fund behind Airbnb, Facebook, and Instagram, providing early-stage startups access to Silicon Valley resources.
With the new investment, the startup plans to grow in three main directions. First, the team aims to expand into the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and European markets by forming partnerships with large e-commerce networks. On the product side, the company intends to make the platform more autonomous and add features such as visual shopping and a voice interface. Additionally, Loops AI plans to establish a structure called “Agentic Network”, allowing AI agents to learn from shared experience while ensuring brand data privacy.
The core activity of Loops AI is to transform customer interactions via autonomous AI agents from a simple Q&A format into a revenue-generating sales channel. According to the startup, their technology has increased customer engagement up to 20 times, sales per visitor by over 70%, and overall sales by 40%. The system also reduces returns and eases the workload of support teams.
Differentiating itself from older-generation chatbots, Loops AI emphasizes that its system acts as a “sales advisor”, understanding user intent with 99% accuracy. Currently, the startup works with over 50 brands, including Tudors, P&G, and Radisson, and stands out for being able to launch the platform in less than seven days. Co-founder İlker Selim Zorluoğlu described this technology as “the new operating system for e-commerce”, highlighting the importance of transitioning from static websites to intelligent agents that converse and sell.
