On July 26-27, a hackathon was held under the joint organization of Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center and Holberton Azerbaijan School. Representatives of the Information Security Department and the Electronic Security Service of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development participated in the opening of the hackathon. At the hackathon, for the first time, graduate programmers and cyber security experts from two different training centers came together to create a cyber security awareness and phishing platform. 11 teams participated in the 24-hour competition.
It should be noted that this hackathon was implemented within the framework of "CyberPark", a support block for national cyber security startups.
The CyberPark block creates a dynamic and conducive environment for software professionals focused on developing advanced cybersecurity products. By attracting talented professionals to comprehensive training programs, it ensures that they receive a high level of technical and business support. As a result, this initiative lays the foundation for the proper formation of startups in the field of cyber security and the continuous development of the industry.
The main goal of "CyberPark" in organizing this hackathon is to promote the creation of cyber security products and platforms in our country, to develop the cyber security ecosystem.
