Small, medium, and even large enterprises face significant challenges when integrating artificial intelligence technologies into their business operations — particularly in terms of financial resources and human capital.

This was stated by Aziza Vidadi, Head of Department at the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, during a panel discussion held within the framework of the “StrategEast: State and IT Eurasia Forum” in Baku.

According to her, there are several approaches to overcoming these challenges:

“For example, public-private partnership models, the use of international learning platforms such as Coursera, or other forms of collaboration can play an important role. In 2023, we successfully cooperated with StrategEast on the IT Hub project, through which many students were employed,” she said.

Vidadi also noted that the Ministry of Economy is currently working on establishing a supercomputer center, which will also be accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The supercomputer will have a computing power of 1.3 petaflops, offering high-performance processing capabilities.

“We aim to create an infrastructure where government institutions, the private sector, and universities can come together to conduct research, develop ideas, and work on new projects. At present, we are collecting data on the needs of the ecosystem to guide this initiative,” Vidadi added.
