The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBB) has started to implement the SIMA new generation digital signature, created by “AzInTelecom” LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, on a large-scale digital services.
Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities can now register as new customers with “SIMA Signature” in the IBA’s “Internet Banking” service (cb.abb-bank.az). After logging into the portal, it is possible to carry out the following business processes completely digitally without visiting the bank:
- Opening bank accounts
- Transfers and conversion operations
- Government payments
- “ANIPay” payments
- Signing loan applications
- ATM and POS-terminal operations
- Approval of AKB and “Asan Finance” consent applications
- Use of non-banking services
- Non-banking services include tax services (issuance of declarations) and customs operations.
It should be noted that individual entrepreneurs and legal entities can obtain “SIMA Signature” online without visiting any service point. To do this, it is enough to download the “SIMA Signature” application and register.
