An extremist group has launched a cyberattack on Azerbaijani news websites.

A cyberattack has been carried out on the "Global" Media Group.

According to Tech.az, as a result of the attack, access to many websites belonging to this media group has been restricted, and users have experienced difficulties accessing these sites. Due to the impact of the attack, the main page of the Report News Agency displayed the phrases "Azerbaijan Islamic Resistance Movement," "Husayniyya," and "Coming Soon."

It is also important to note that the Husayniyya organization is a Shiite Islamist, anti-government terrorist group that aims to transform Azerbaijan into an Islamic Republic. This organization is funded and supported by the Iranian government. Husayniyya is a group focused on activities against the Azerbaijani government and carries out terrorist actions to implement its ideology.
