Another important authority was given to the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan
The Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On information, informatization and information protection" was amended.
In this regard, the head of the country signed a new law.
According to the amendment to the law, it will not be allowed to provide electronic services through state information resources and systems without receiving a positive opinion from the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan that it meets the requirements of information security. Also, state information resources and systems providing electronic services should be monitored by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan according to security criteria, provided with protected telecommunication channels, and a security audit should be conducted no less than once a year.
