According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple has formed a new team to develop an AI application similar to ChatGPT. This team aims to create an “answer system” that uses information from across the web to respond to users’ questions.
This system could function as a standalone app or enhance search capabilities in Apple products like Siri and Safari.
Apple has already integrated ChatGPT functionality into Siri, but the release of a more personalized and advanced AI-powered version has been delayed several times. Additionally, Apple may need to revise its search agreement with Google due to an antitrust ruling that has impacted Google’s operations.
