Apple, which earned $81.79 billion in revenue in the 3rd fiscal quarter of the year, has now announced the results of the 4th fiscal quarter. The company's revenue in the 4th quarter was 89.5 billion dollars, and its net profit exceeded 23 billion dollars. Compared to the same period in 2022, Apple's revenue has decreased, but its net profit has increased.
A large portion of Apple's revenue has traditionally come from iPhone sales. In the 4th fiscal quarter, iPhone sales generated $43.81 billion. This represents a 3 percent increase in iPhone revenue. Services took second place with $22.31 billion in revenue. These are followed by wearable technology, the Mac and the iPad.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said that iPhone 15 models had a more successful September quarter, especially compared to last year's iPhone 14. Apple's financial results for 2022 indicate a profitable period, despite the decrease in revenues compared to the same period last year.
