Apple secures Patent for “All-Glass” iPhone design

Apple’s newly filed patent has revealed intriguing details about the design of upcoming iPhone models. According to the patent, the phone’s front and back will be made entirely of glass, giving the device a more modern and aesthetically appealing look.

The patent shows that the front glass will wrap around all corners of the device and seamlessly connect with the back glass. As a result, the iPhone will appear as a “single piece of glass,” with no visible distinction between the front and back. To address manufacturing challenges, the design could also be achieved by combining multiple glass components.

The new iPhone’s corners won’t just serve a visual purpose. According to the patent, these edges could be used for additional functions such as volume control, Wi-Fi, and Airplane Mode buttons integrated along the sides of the display. Special placements for the microphone and speakers are also considered, ensuring they remain accessible without being hidden beneath the screen.

Experts note that this new design will not only transform the phone’s appearance but also make every corner of the display more convenient and interactive to use.

For now, the release date of the “all-glass” iPhone remains unknown. Users, however, are eagerly anticipating the launch of the iPhone 17 on September 9.
