The first acceleration program aimed at the development of the gaming industry in Azerbaijan – Xsolla–IRIA Game Accelerator – has begun accepting applications. The program aims to provide access to the global gaming market for PC game studios and development teams with a workable prototype (playable build/vertical slice).
Teams selected for the acceleration program will each receive a development grant of 5,000 USD. In addition, participants will participate in mentoring sessions and practical workshops with international gaming industry experts, and will undergo individual pitching training for the presentation of their projects.
One of the main advantages of the program is that the selected teams will have the opportunity to present their projects to international publishers and investors at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), one of the world's largest gaming industry events held in San Francisco, USA.
The organizers state that the intellectual property rights (IP) of the games developed within the program will remain fully with the authors.
Applications for the Xsolla–IRIA Game Accelerator program will be accepted until August 17, 2026.
