The National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (AMEA) has started a collaboration with the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey.
The goal is to use artificial intelligence in seismological research.
Fariz Imranov, the director of the Electronic Academy Department of AMEA's Presidium, stated that this issue is not only on the agenda in Azerbaijan but also worldwide.
The scientist also emphasized the importance of joint projects related to emerging new terms worldwide. He noted that conducting research in the fields of humanitarian and social sciences and disseminating them to the world, as well as improving reference indicators, will play a significant role in the preparation of the "Common Turkic Index." He mentioned that Turkey has already taken initial steps in this direction.
In addition, F. Imranov mentioned that at present, AMEA is taking essential measures to revive the activities of "Wikipedia" groups and to restore training programs. He also stated that AMEA is using artificial intelligence in research and projects to preserve the purity of the Azerbaijani language, elucidate the language's capabilities on scientific grounds, and create a fundamental corpus of approximately 100 million word forms in accordance with the modern state of the Azerbaijani language.
