"Mobile Payment Solutions" LLC (Portmanat brand) announced the creation of the first official cryptocurrency of Azerbaijan, "PortCoin".
Marja.az reports, citing the company, that the purchase and sale of the "PortCoin" cryptocurrency through the "Portmanat" online payment system is available to Portmant users.
PortCoin (PTC) was created to develop modern financial systems using digital assets and blockchain technologies, and in this regard, Baku Blockchain Meetup 2025 and the Presentation of the Portcoin Cryptocurrency will be held at the Azerbaijan Innovation Center on January 15, 2025.
"Mobile Payment Solutions" LLC provides services under license No. EPT-005 issued by the Central Bank on July 8, 2024.
PortCoin is a blockchain-based crypto-asset approved within the framework of the "Special Regulatory Regime" of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The platform offers users the services of buying, selling, managing cryptocurrencies and easily converting funds from foreign crypto wallets to Azerbaijani manat (AZN).
Features:

To buy and sell “PortCoin” cryptocurrency, you need to download the “Portmanat” application, register and verify with ASAN Sima. After these steps, a PTC address must be created.
To create a PTC address, you must fulfill the following conditions:
1. Verification with SIMA: You must verify your account through SIMA from the Limits and capabilities section.
2. Two-step verification: You must activate the Google 2-factor authentication function from the Security section.
The following limits apply to Portcoin transactions:
* PTC 1-month purchase limit: 1000 AZN.
* PTC 6-month purchase limit: 5000 AZN.
* PTC 1-month sale limit: 1000 AZN.
* PTC 6-month sale limit: 5000 AZN.
