On September 2, a team of Azerbaijani youth participated in the world’s largest robotics championship, “TechnoXian World Cup 9.0”, held in Noida, India. The event was organized by AREA Academy with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.
The team achieved outstanding results, earning gold and silver medals. Out of 12,000 finalists from various countries, the Azerbaijani team won the World Champion title in the Grand Championship – Drone Race (PUA) and secured second place in RC Craft (Aviomodelling). In addition, our youth represented Azerbaijan with eight teams, further raising the country’s profile on the international stage.
During the championship, the ideas and technological solutions presented by the Azerbaijani youth received high praise from international judges and spectators alike.
These achievements highlight Azerbaijan’s growing strength in robotics and artificial intelligence, demonstrating that the country’s efforts in these fields are yielding positive results.
