AzInTelecom LLC showcased its solutions and capabilities in cloud technology, biometric identification, and artificial intelligence at the international "ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2026" event held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The company's participation served as a vital platform for promoting its digital products and services in the regional market, establishing new partnerships, and expanding international cooperation.
Developing modern digital infrastructure, creating high-performance computing capabilities, and implementing advanced technologies are among the key areas of AzInTelecom’s activities aimed at reinforcing Azerbaijan's status as a regional digital hub. In this regard, the company is developing artificial intelligence and high-performance computing capabilities alongside its data centers and cloud infrastructure.
Farid Ismayilzade, Advisor to the CEO of AzInTelecom LLC, spoke on the topic "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Cloud Infrastructure and Cybersecurity" during a panel discussion at the event. He discussed the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on modern digital infrastructure, as well as the projects "AzInTelecom" is implementing in this area.
During the presentation, special emphasis was placed on the significance of the first Supercomputer Center established in Azerbaijan for the country's artificial intelligence and digital development. The Center provides the necessary infrastructure to execute AI and other technology projects requiring immense computing power domestically, enabling local companies, government agencies, and innovation entities to access advanced computing resources. In doing so, Azerbaijan is expanding its capabilities—moving beyond being merely a user of digital technologies to becoming a nation equipped with the technological infrastructure essential for creating and developing AI solutions.
The Center utilizes NVIDIA H200 GPU chips to develop AI models, rapidly process large volumes of data, and perform complex computations. Work is currently underway to further expand the Center's computing power and capabilities. This infrastructure also creates new opportunities to strengthen Azerbaijan's position in the region as a technology hub for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing services.
In his remarks, F. Ismayilzade also noted that AzInTelecom utilizes modern artificial intelligence technologies to enhance security within its biometric solutions.
During the event, the AzInTelecom delegation showcased the company’s cloud and biometric solutions, as well as other digital products and services, to an international audience. Bilateral meetings with representatives from foreign technology companies focused on potential collaboration opportunities and prospects for deploying these solutions in regional markets.
