Bolt announces the launch of the first entrepreneurship accelerator program in Azerbaijan – “Bolt Accelerator” – to support drivers and couriers operating on its platform to realize their business ideas. The program will support their development by providing participants with the knowledge, skills, mentoring support and the opportunity to obtain initial financing to start their own business.
“Our goal with the Bolt Accelerator program is to support our drivers and couriers not only to earn money, but also to realize their entrepreneurial ideas. It is important for us to reveal their potential and contribute to the development of the innovation ecosystem in our country. The program is organized in partnership with SUP VC, a company with many years of experience in implementing accelerator projects.

It is possible to apply for participation with a business idea from any field until August 15, 2025. The authors of the best ideas will be eligible to participate in the Bolt Accelerator program. Here, participants will gain practical knowledge on starting a company, managing finances, creating a marketing strategy, and attracting customers.
20 participants who advance to the next stage of the program will be provided with individual mentoring support in their fields. At the end, the 7 strongest ideas will be awarded with financial support:
1st place (1 person) – 10,000 AZN
2nd place (1 person) – 7,000 AZN
3rd place (3 people) – 4,500 AZN
4th place (2 people) – 3,000 AZN
Total prize fund: 36,500 AZN
The winners will also participate in an additional 6-week mentoring program. This stage will help develop the idea and deliver it to real customers.
This program is presented by Bolt for the first time in Azerbaijan. Bolt Accelerator has been successfully implemented in Nigeria, Europe, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa so far, and has supported the implementation of more than 30 business ideas in these regions.
