California Governor Creates $2 Billion Fund for Homeless Entrepreneurs
California Governor Gavin Newsom has launched a $2 billion fund, SKID ROW CAPITAL, to support entrepreneurs who are creating solutions to housing, mental health, and economic opportunity.
“We’ve been funding this problem for years,” Skid Row Capital said in a statement. “Now we’re looking to people with real experience and bold ideas to make a real difference.”
The fund aims to transform California’s most challenging problems into investable and scalable solutions, by prioritizing innovation over bureaucracy.
