Corpowid, a startup founded by Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and currently operating in Istanbul, has entered into a strategic partnership with Colin’s, a well-known international fashion brand. Within the framework of this collaboration, Colin’s official online platform for Azerbaijan will be enhanced to improve accessibility, creating a more inclusive and user-friendly experience for people with physical disabilities.
The project is developed in accordance with internationally recognized standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These standards ensure that individuals with visual, hearing, and mobility impairments can easily access digital content and that online platforms are accessible to everyone.
Corpowid goes beyond just ensuring website accessibility; it also provides technical support services including site speed optimization, improving user experience (UX), and enhancing search engine visibility (SEO).
Founded in 2024, Corpowid was selected from over 7,400 startups to reach the finals of the BigBang Startup Challenge organized by Istanbul Technical University’s ITU Arı Teknokent. The startup ranked 7th among the most supported startups, winning over 2 million Turkish Liras in prizes. Since 2024, Corpowid has been serving over 100 clients across 5 countries. The startup’s co-founders are Elmir Hesenli and Ayten Mammadova.
Elmir Hesenli, co-founder of Corpowid, states:
“We believe technology should be for everyone. Through this project with Colin’s, we are proud to promote equality and inclusivity in the digital world.”
For Colin’s, this initiative is a key part of their corporate social responsibility strategy, helping the brand establish a positive image and enhance user satisfaction in a new market.
