Cursor’s creator, Anysphere, has introduced a new web app that allows users to assign programming tasks to AI agents and monitor their progress directly through a browser. Users can give natural language instructions such as writing code or fixing bugs, track agents’ work, and merge completed code into their main projects.
The app works on both desktop and mobile devices. Major companies like Nvidia, Uber, and Adobe are among Cursor’s clients, and the service operates on a subscription model.
This new web app is available only to paid subscribers; free users do not have access to this feature.
Cursor’s team has carefully tested its AI agents to ensure they are practical and reliable. According to Cursor CEO Michael Truell, AI agents could handle up to 20% of programmers’ work in the near future.
This innovation expands the use of AI in programming, making workflows faster and more efficient.
