Formula 1 world-renowned driver Lewis Hamilton has made the transition from racing to the business world by launching his own venture fund. Through the new fund, Hamilton plans to invest in innovation, artificial intelligence and technology startups. The pilot’s goal is to build a more sustainable and inclusive innovation ecosystem by supporting high-potential technology projects.
Hamilton’s investment activity has already begun to attract attention. One of his latest partnerships is with Perplexity AI, a company valued at $20 billion. The startup is building an artificial intelligence-based search platform to compete with Google and has signed an endorsement deal with Hamilton.
The Perplexity logo first appeared on Hamilton’s helmet at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix on May 18. In addition, the pilot has expanded his partnerships with brands such as Lululemon and CFI in recent months.
