Gamepons Compass III Demo Day took place – 7 local game projects were presented

The Demo Day event of the Gamepons Compass III game incubation program, implemented by Gamepons with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was successfully held. During the event, the teams participating in the third stream of the program presented the game projects they developed during the incubation period.

The Gamepons Compass III program was implemented based on the incubation model developed by Gamepons and IGDA Azerbaijan. During the program, the participating teams further improved their projects through mentor support, a structured development process, access to a specialized library, and various game development resources.

As part of the incubation process, the studios were provided with workspace and technical equipment support by the Creative Center operating under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. These opportunities created conditions for the teams to work on projects more systematically and continuously.

As part of the Demo Day event, 7 local indie game studios presented their game projects. Along with representatives of the local game industry, guests from various creative fields also attended the event.

Of the presented projects, 3 game studios are already in positive negotiations with local and international publishers. This fact is considered one of the initial indicators that local indie game projects have an increasing potential to enter international markets.

Game projects and studios presented during Demo Day:

  • TIRKA Studio – MyChefHatesMe
  • iSD – Ranchdays
  • DarkNight Studio – Jupiter
  • Legions Game Studio – Trust Me
  • Voyagers – Somewhere in Between
  • HyperArc Studios – Redactor
  • Albroz Studio – The Last Station

It should be noted that the Gamepons Compass game incubation program continues its activities to contribute to the development of the local game industry and support the formation of new game studios.
