Garmin has introduced the first screenless smart fitness bracelet CIRQA Smart Band. The new device tracks health and sports indicators 24/7, and provides all the data to the user through the Garmin Connect application. The company says that no paid subscription is required to use the main functions.
CIRQA measures heart rate, blood oxygen level (SpO₂), skin temperature, stress level and heart rate variability (HRV). In addition, Garmin's Body Battery function assesses the user's energy level.
The bracelet analyzes sleep stages, assesses sleep quality, determines daytime sleepiness and provides recommendations for recovery.
The device supports more than 80 sports. Exercises such as running, walking and yoga can be automatically recognized, and users can start their favorite workout with a single button on the case.
In the Garmin Connect application, users can track indicators such as training readiness level, VO₂ max, training status, training benefit and recommended time for recovery.
CIRQA does not have a built-in GPS module. Running and cycling routes are recorded using the geolocation of a connected smartphone. The device also supports the LiveTrack function, allowing the user to share their real-time location with loved ones.
The bracelet can be worn on both the wrist and forearm. Garmin claims that the device offers up to 10 days of battery life.
The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is now available in the US for $199.99.
