One of the region’s highly anticipated events in the technology and innovation ecosystem, “Baku ID,” will once again bring together investors, startups and leading ecosystem representatives this year. Organized by the SABAH.HUB Innovation Center with the support of government institutions and private-sector partners, “Baku ID 2026” innovation festival will take place on September 17–18.
For the first time, the festival will be held at “SABAH.city,” an innovation campus envisioned as one of Azerbaijan’s future technology development hubs. Bringing together industry, science, capital and the public sector in a unified environment, SABAH.city is being developed as a modern ecosystem aimed at advancing the country’s innovation potential.
The two-day festival will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, startup pitches and networking sessions. Discussions will focus on key trends shaping the future of technology and business, covering areas such as artificial intelligence, venture capital, angel investment, as well as fintech, healthtech, edtech, greentech and proptech.
As part of the festival, local and international startups will present their solutions to investors representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Georgia, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as other international markets. Representatives of leading venture capital funds, including MOST Ventures, White Hill Capital, Activat VC, IT Park Ventures, APY Ventures, Plus VC, MEVP and Startup Wise Guys, will also participate in the event. These presentations will give startups an opportunity to connect directly with potential investors and partners, discuss investment opportunities and explore prospects for entering new markets.
Now in its fifth edition, “Baku ID” has brought together more than 13,500 participants, 375 startups and 140 partners to date. The festival has also contributed to attracting more than $5.5 million in direct investment for startups.
The strategic partners of “Baku ID 2026” include the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PASHA Holding, SOCAR and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM). The festival’s main partners include the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and TIMES, a company operating in the out-of-home advertising sector.
Free shuttle buses will be available during the festival to facilitate transportation to and from SABAH.city. In addition, as part of a supporting partnership with Bolt for Business, attendees will receive a 30% discount on trips to and from the festival venue.
