Ilya Sutskever's startup "Safe Superintelligence" is in talks to secure investments at a valuation of $20 billion. The company has not yet generated any revenue, and it remains unclear how much investment it is seeking. The new valuation is four times higher than the $5 billion valuation it held in September last year.
Very little is known about the company's operations. Among the co-founders of "Safe Superintelligence" are former OpenAI researcher Daniel Levy and former Apple AI project lead Daniel Gross. So far, the company has raised $1 billion. Current investors include Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and DST Global.
