IRIA strengthens startup skills with "INNOSTART"

The Innostart project is rapidly expanding the innovation ecosystem in the regions. In 2025, the project is planned to be implemented on a larger scale, covering Ganja, Sumgayit, Lankaran, Nakhchivan and other cities. At this stage, e-commerce trainings, ideathons and new incubation programs will also be implemented.

The “INNOSTART” project, implemented with the support of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDIA) and in partnership with SUP.VC, continues to develop the innovation and startup skills of young people living in the regions.

The project, which has been implemented since 2022, organizes incubation programs, hackathons, mentoring sessions, practical trainings and “Demo Day” events. All these activities provide young people with the opportunity to gain knowledge in the fields of technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as gain practical experience in real market conditions.
“INNOSTART” expands the opportunities of young people living in the regions to establish startups, develop their ideas and connect with investors. At the same time, participants are integrated into the country's innovation ecosystem through awareness-raising sessions, community events and innovation competitions.
The institutional support of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and the leadership of Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Agency, play an important role in the successful implementation of the project. On his initiative, “INNOSTART” participants are provided with not only general training, but also advice and resources tailored to individual needs. This allows the project to produce faster, more flexible and effective results.
Farid Osmanov's strategic approach has created conditions for deepening innovation in the regions, revealing local potential and allowing young people to take confident steps in realizing their ideas. Under his leadership, the Agency attaches special importance to the localization of innovation initiatives and provides continuous support.
In 2025, the project is planned to be implemented on a larger scale, covering Ganja, Sumgayit, Lankaran, Nakhchivan and other cities. At this stage, e-commerce trainings, ideathons and new incubation programs will also be implemented.
The “INNOSTART” project is not only a tool for personal development, but also a strategic initiative that significantly contributes to the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem and economic transformation of Azerbaijan.
