An Information Technology Museum is being created in Baku. The initiator of the project, Vahid Gasim, reported on this on his social media account.
According to him, he has already begun to realize this idea, which he has dreamed of for a long time. The museum will exhibit old books, ancient computers, data carriers, network equipment and other historical technological exhibits.
Vahid Gasim said that the goal of the museum is to demonstrate the history of the development of the IT sector, as well as to arouse interest in technology among young people.
At the same time, he appealed to the public:
“I ask friends and acquaintances, if anyone has interesting artifacts related to the computer world of the 1970s–80s–90s, to donate them to our museum. Let your old things help the younger generations grow up.”
The museum will be open to anyone who is interested. It is possible to get acquainted with the exhibits at any time.
