More than 50 international and regional venture capital funds are participating in the "Baku ID" event.

Rahim Bayramli, CEO of "SABAH.HUB," announced this to media representatives.

According to him, this is the fifth consecutive time the event is being held: "The primary goal of the event is to create a unified platform for startups from Azerbaijan and the region, helping them pitch to international investors and secure funding."

Bayramli noted that this year's event differs from previous ones in terms of scale: "For the first time, over 50 international and regional venture capital funds are represented. In total, 60 startups are delivering presentations to them; of these, 45 are from abroad, while 15 are local enterprises." He added that this year's "Baku ID" is also significant as it marks the launch of the first phase of the "SABAH.HUB" project: "'SABAH.HUB' is a major project implemented through a public-private partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education. The project aims to bring together key players in the startup ecosystems of Azerbaijan and the region—including higher education institutions, research institutes, startups, investment and technology companies, and government agencies. The goal is to foster effective collaboration among these parties and support the development of a knowledge-based economy in the region."
