New Startup Studio Parvaz Launches in Azerbaijan

A new startup studio, Parvaz, has launched in Azerbaijan, focusing on building early-stage products, finding founders to lead them, and helping existing startups expand into Central Asian and Middle Eastern markets.

Unlike traditional startup programs, Parvaz builds the initial version of a product itself and then finds a founder to take over its development and operations. The founder gradually takes on a larger share of the business and ultimately becomes the owner of the company alongside an equity stake.

The studio addresses two common challenges in startup creation: people who have ideas but lack a team to build them, and individuals who want to run a company but do not want to start entirely from scratch. Parvaz aims to bring these two sides together.

The studio develops the first version of a selected product, including its design and code, before agreeing on the equity structure with the founder. The company is then gradually transferred to the founder as they take on more responsibility.

Parvaz offers four ways to engage with the studio: taking over and running an existing venture as a founder, submitting an idea for the studio to build its first version, joining a startup program for teams that already have a product or initial users, and finding a co-founder through connections with engineers, product specialists and operators.

Teams working with the studio also receive support from a community of Azerbaijani engineers, product specialists and founders. Mentorship covers areas including product development, engineering, growth and fundraising.

Another focus of Parvaz is helping existing startups enter new markets. The studio is currently working on expansion opportunities in Central Asia and the Middle East, connecting teams with relevant partners such as startup exchanges, hub programs and funds depending on their stage and target market.

Parvaz's current portfolio includes Komissio, Rawuser and PropCraft. Komissio is an affiliate platform for SaaS products operating on Stripe and Shopify stores, Rawuser provides personalization for websites built with AI, while PropCraft is a proposal platform for agencies. Komissio and PropCraft are live, while Rawuser is currently in the pilot stage.

The founders of Parvaz are Agshin Rajabov, Ayaz Ibrahimov and Alastan Asadzade. The studio is open to people who want to run a company, individuals with startup ideas, existing startup teams and founders looking for co-founders.

Parvaz's broader goal is to help build more companies in Azerbaijan and the region by shortening the path from an idea to a working product and, eventually, to expansion into neighboring markets.
