Sara Friar, CFO of OpenAI, said that Azerbaijani is among the fastest-growing languages on the ChatGPT platform. She spoke about this during her appearance on the All-In Podcast.
According to Friar, the region where ChatGPT is currently experiencing the fastest user growth is the African continent. At the same time, Azerbaijani and Kazakh languages demonstrate special dynamics in the statistical indicators on languages.
An OpenAI official called this trend “incredible” and noted that these indicators reflect the rapid spread of artificial intelligence technologies in different regions of the world and their reach to wider audiences.
Sara Friar emphasized that this growth is consistent with OpenAI’s mission to make artificial intelligence accessible for the benefit of all humanity. According to her, ChatGPT is currently used by more than 900 million users every week, and for many people, this is their first acquaintance with artificial intelligence.
The CFO added that the company's strategy aims to reach not only enterprises, but also individual users and different language groups. OpenAI believes that the benefits of artificial intelligence should be accessible to people everywhere.
