“SIMA KYC” in Leobank

SIMA’s “KYC” (Know Your Customer) digital solution has been successfully integrated into the “Leobank” mobile application. 

From now on, in cases where additional security verification is required during the use of the mobile application, identity confirmation will be carried out using SIMA KYC’s facial recognition technology. This process will determine whether the person performing the transaction is indeed the actual account owner. The transaction will proceed only after the account holder’s identity has been verified.

The main purpose of this innovation is to strengthen digital security, improve customer experience, and reduce the risks of cyber fraud in operations carried out without the customer’s physical presence.

With this update, the number of banks in Azerbaijan that have integrated SIMA’s products has reached 12.

SIMA KYC (Know Your Customer) digital solution was developed in 2023 by “AzInTelecom” LLC, a company under AZCON Holding. This solution conducts biometric identification based on facial features to verify the user’s identity. SIMA KYC can be applied in all processes that require identity verification.
