The number of technological startups among IT Park residents has reached 205. According to the information, most projects operate in the field of educational technologies (37). 28 start-up projects are being implemented in e-commerce, 26 in fintech, and 15 each in the field of medical technologies and CRM. There are 14 projects related to artificial intelligence.
More than half of the resident startups are in the seed stage, and 39.5% are in the pre-seed stage. Only 13 startups reached the initial and next investment stage. During the nine months of 2024, startups received a total of $124.7 million in investment. 45% of it was allocated to seed, 32.5% to pre-seed, and 15% to initial stage projects.
In particular, FOM Group, which closed a $6 million investment round in August, has come to the fore as a company that develops IT solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, Zip24 and Zypl.ai managed to attract Plug and Play investments. Local venture funds such as AlogaVentures, UzVC and Uzcard VC also supported the development of startups and invested about 1 million dollars.
According to information, it is also planned to introduce a limited partnership institution for venture funds.
