A new feature called Emoji Stake has been discovered in the Telegram messenger. The publication “Kod Durova” reported about this. The feature is currently in beta mode and is not yet available to the general public.
Emoji Stake is similar to a casino game in its mechanism. Users choose the bet amount with TON cryptocurrency and roll virtual dice. The game has a “streak” mechanic: the winning streak is reset after three games or when the bet amount is changed.
The rules are as follows:
If the dice roll results from 1 to 3, the user loses;
4 points — the bet increases ×1.5;
5 points — the bet increases ×2;
6 points — the bet increases ×3;
6 points in a row — the bet increases ×6.
It is noted that this is still a test stage and the winning odds and conditions may change in the release version.
Recall that in February and May 2025, Telegram carried out large-scale blocking of bot casinos operating on the platform. Large projects with an audience of millions were also subject to these restrictions. In addition, keywords such as casino, freespin, casino were removed from Telegram's global search.
Experts believe that the messenger is strengthening content moderation in order to minimize the attention of regulators against the backdrop of rumors about a possible IPO. During this process, some legal gaming and entertainment services operating in Russia also fell under the "shadow ban". As a result, analytical platforms attribute these channels to the "bookmaking" category, which, according to industry associations, does not reflect reality.
Telegram has not made an official statement regarding the new Emoji Stake function.
