The official internet information resource of the Information Security Coordination Commission has been registered with the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Information Security Coordination Commission was established by the Decree No. 3851 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 29, 2018. Its aim is to ensure the security of the information space in Azerbaijan, protect information systems and resources of critical infrastructure facilities from cyberattacks, and coordinate the activities of state agencies working in this field to prevent, mitigate, and investigate such threats.
The Commission's primary duties include conducting regular analyses, identifying, evaluating, and predicting future threats and risks in the field of information security and cybercrime, preparing proposals, and coordinating activities in this sector.
It is noteworthy that the Chairman of the Information Security Coordination Commission is Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev, Head of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
