The patent infringement case is based on Apple's allegations that medical technology company Masimo infringed on patents for its blood oxygen sensor technology.
The ITC's decision means that Apple Stores in the US will stop selling the Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2. However, it is reported that previously sold devices will continue to function normally, and models without a sensor, such as the Watch SE, are not covered. Apple said it is appealing the ITC's decision and will use legal means to resume sales in the United States.
