The updated "mygov" digital government platform is now available to citizens

The "mygov" digital government platform provided by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has been updated. The improved platform now provides citizens with convenient access to key government services, digital documents, and personal data management through a user-friendly digital interface. At the same time, administrative processes in citizen-state relations are simplified and the use of paper during transactions is reduced to a minimum.

What new services and benefits does "mygov" provide to citizens?

Major life events

The updated "mygov" platform also offers a set of services to speed up the work of citizens during important life events:

Getting married: The platform facilitates the digital submission and validation of marriage documents. So, after checking the necessary medical examination certificates, couples planning to start a family can now set their wedding dates electronically on the "mygov" platform and obtain marriage certificates at the registry office of their choice.

Becoming a parent: Parents can apply online for their newborn's legal documents and other related services.

Death of a family member: The platform facilitates the process of registering the death of a family member. After the medical worker enters the necessary information into the system, the death certificate is automatically transmitted to the Ministry of Justice and then presented to the family. This document is an official confirmation of a life event and is necessary to resolve many issues such as one-time burial benefits and inheritance rights.

Digital data and digital documents

In the "mygov" application, more than 40 pieces of information are placed in the "my information" section. The information is presented both in the form of a card and in the form of a more detailed list. Through the cards, it is possible to see the main information on the document without opening the page. The list of documents submitted in the form of a card includes an identity card, a citizen's passport, a driver's license, a marriage certificate and a student card. Citizens can share their digital data in "mygov" using a QR code and download it as a PDF file.

In addition, "mygov" brings a new concept of "digital document" for citizens. Thus, with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 16, 4 documents - identity card, birth, marriage and death certificate are presented in digital form. Submission of this information through the "mygov" application is equivalent to submission in physical form.

Ability to share and hide documents and data with one click

Citizens can access the "mygov" application and share documents and information through QR code and document number. Institutions and enterprises verify the accuracy of submitted documents and information through the "mygov Checker" mobile application and web portal. It is possible to check the accuracy of the data by scanning the QR code with the "mygov Checker" mobile application or by querying the 8-digit number presented under the QR code on the "mygov Checker" web portal. It is not possible to take a screenshot of the shared data in the "mygov Checker" application, and the maximum time of displaying the shared data in the application is 3 minutes. In the "My shared data" section, a citizen can get acquainted with the history of the data he shared in the "mygov" mobile application and see when and with which institution and enterprise he shared it.

New citizen-oriented functionalities

The improved search engine of the platform allows users to quickly find the information or services they need when using the platform for the first time. In addition, the newly implemented "Notification Module" ensures that citizens are informed about important government changes related to legislation, tax issues, public safety and health. "Appeals Module" creates effective communication and ensures that citizens' requests and complaints are delivered to the government and feedback is tracked on a single platform, and results are obtained.

New digital services

The renewed "mygov" also offers services that will support the development of the ecological environment, contributing to a green world. "Electric charging points" service of the Azerbaijan Ground Transport Agency is already available in "mygov". Thus, citizens can access this service and familiarize themselves with the list of EDMs, search for stations by applying certain filters and see the route on the map to go to the station of their choice. A citizen can use this service by logging into the "mygov" application and entering the service named "Electric charging points" from the "Services" section.

The updated platform also offers services such as changing subscriber codes for utilities. With this, citizens will be able to change the subscription codes of their newly purchased apartments from wherever they are, just with their mobile devices, and in no time 

they will recite. This service is provided initially for "Azersu", "Azerigas" and "Azerishig" subscribers.

The "Pension calculator" service will give citizens the opportunity to find out in real time when and under what conditions the pension will be determined under the legislation. The calculator calculates the date on which a citizen will be entitled to an age-related labor pension according to the current legislation, his age on the date he will acquire the right to a pension, as well as the required length of insurance for all three types of pensions (due to age, disability or loss of the head of the family), pension capital, whether he is currently a pensioner and etc. will provide information about
