Tourlane Raises €25 Million in Series D Funding

Berlin-based travel tech startup Tourlane has secured €25 million in a Series D funding round led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Target Global, Qualtrics co-founder Jared Smith, and HV Capital.

This investment will bolster Tourlane’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the European travel market, expand internationally, and enhance its AI-driven travel services to deliver more personalized customer experiences.

Founded in 2016, Tourlane specializes in creating tailored, multi-destination travel itineraries and currently serves over 40 global destinations. By leveraging AI, the platform simplifies complex travel planning and offers unique, personalized recommendations to its users.

CEO Julian Weselek noted that the funding will help advance Tourlane’s AI capabilities and drive its growth into new markets. Additionally, the company is exploring sustainable travel solutions as part of its strategy to meet the rising demand for eco-conscious travel.

This funding round underscores investor confidence in Tourlane’s ability to combine cutting-edge technology with personalized service, positioning it as a leader in the competitive travel industry.
