Trendyol Group, Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar, UAE-based investment fund ADQ, and Chinese fintech company Ant International have joined forces to establish a new fintech company operating in Turkey.
According to the signed letter of intent, the platform to be created will offer integrated services across various sectors including e-commerce, digital banking, artificial intelligence, and insurance. Through this collaboration, especially individual users and small businesses will gain easier and faster access to financial services. The new fintech company is expected to start operations in the coming months.
This new structure will combine Baykar’s technical expertise in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, Trendyol’s digital infrastructure and large user base, and Ant International’s global fintech experience.
Çağlayan Çetin, President of Trendyol Group, stated, “With this partnership, we will accelerate the digitalization of Turkey’s economy and create a model that will set an example in technology-driven financial solutions. Thanks to our strong data analytics capabilities, we aim to make financial services more accessible to over 250,000 sellers in particular, enhancing their e-commerce and e-export capacities, thereby contributing to the country’s economy in a sustainable and long-term way.”
Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar, added, “This partnership brings together Baykar’s AI solutions and robust technical infrastructure with Trendyol’s extensive user network and fintech expertise.
