Trendyol Group has introduced three new AI models for e-commerce, available for free on the Hugging Face platform. These models are designed to analyze and manage product images on the company’s online stores.
1. DinoV2 Image Similarity
This model helps find similar product images. It is useful for showing customers similar clothes or accessories and giving personalized recommendations.
2. E-Commerce Product Image Encoder
This system detects duplicate or similar product images. It improves catalog quality and helps show more accurate search results to customers.
3. Background Removal
This model automatically removes the background from images. It is especially useful for clothes or people, making product photos look cleaner and more professional.
Dr. Tolga Ahmet Kalaycı, Head of Data Science at Trendyol Group, said the company developed these systems to maintain catalog quality and show products correctly on a platform with millions of daily operations.
This step aims to make Trendyol’s e-commerce platform more effective and user-friendly.
