Turkish startup Hyperever secures $2.2 million investment

Turkey’s robotics technology startup Hyperever has raised $2.2 million in investment from Öncü, the venture capital fund of Doğan Holding.

Operating within İstanbul Technical University’s (ITU) ARI Teknokent, Hyperever is developing an AI-powered quadruped robot named Proteo V1. The robot is designed to move in difficult terrain conditions and can carry loads of up to 35 kg.

With features such as 4–6 hours of continuous operation and high performance at low temperatures, Hyperever plans to introduce Proteo V1 by the end of 2025 and begin mass production shortly after.

The startup aims to use the newly raised funds to accelerate R&D activities, strengthen its production infrastructure, expand marketing efforts, and enter international markets.

Prof. Dr. Attila Dikbaş, CEO of ITU ARI Teknokent, stated:

“At ITU ARI Teknokent, we lead the growth of innovative startups in Turkey and help them gain global competitiveness. Hyperever is a startup born within our ecosystem, built on Istanbul Technical University’s strong engineering foundation, and driven by a vision for the future.

The investment led by Doğan Holding is a clear indication of confidence in both Hyperever’s technological capabilities and Turkey’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. We see university–industry collaboration as the cornerstone of sustainable development, and Hyperever’s success is the strongest proof of this. We are determined to position Turkey as a country that develops technology and exports innovation.”
