Turkish startup Yuppo, which develops artificial intelligence-based technologies in the field of child development and parental support, has successfully completed its pre-seed investment round, raising approximately €750,000 (₺25 million) in funding.
The investment round saw participation from reputable funds such as Ak Portfolio GSYF, Logo Ventures, and Wamda, along with well-known angel investors including Faruk Eczacıbaşı, Ahu Serter, Münteha Adalı, Mert Fırat, Ali Kerim Diler, and Okan Coşgun.
Founded by Sadık Ünlü, Serhat Soyuerel, Hande Çilingir, Muharrem Derinkök, Mehmet Sinan Toktay, and Professor Selçuk Şirin, Yuppo offers innovative AI-powered solutions to parents of children aged 0–6, helping them monitor and support their child’s development.
The startup’s primary mission is to provide parents with scientifically grounded, personalized, and age-appropriate content and materials during early childhood – a period considered the most critical stage in human development. With the support of AI technology, Yuppo enables parents to ask questions through a virtual assistant and receive accurate, reliable answers.
This approach allows parents to engage more closely and purposefully in their child’s developmental journey, helping build a healthier foundation for the future.
The Yuppo team plans to use the newly raised investment to further develop and expand its AI technologies. In a statement following the investment, the team shared:
“We are confident that Yuppo will make a significant contribution to the development of this field both in our country and around the world.”
