The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan, Nurjan Nurzhigitov, met with Dana Gadyrbek, a young inventor and student of gymnasium No. 79 in Almaty.

The 10th grader has developed an innovative device that collects water from the atmosphere and does not require electricity using modern nanomaterials. This technology allows for efficient water extraction from air moisture and condensation without an additional energy source. The main advantage of the device is that it can work even in areas with low humidity and uses solar energy.

As a result of the meeting, the ministry and the young inventor signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly analyze the operation of the device, conduct pilot tests, exchange information, and explore the possibilities of wide application of the technology.

The minister instructed to provide extensive support for the implementation of the project at the pilot stage, and presented Dana with a letter of gratitude and a gift.

"It is gratifying that young people are developing scientific projects aimed at the economical use of water. This device can be a very important solution, especially for regions with water shortages. The use of nanomaterials and solar energy makes it one of the important directions of green innovation," Nurjigitov said.
