Within the framework of the “Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029,” it has been decided to establish a “New Generation Technology Center” in the country. According to the document, this center will create special mechanisms to support local companies in adopting technological innovations.
The center will operate based on the “learn and transform” principle. Its main goal is to optimize business processes, provide advisory services to companies, and enhance their competitiveness. In the initial phase, at least 25 enterprises will be involved in training programs, with the number of companies undergoing digital transformation planned to increase annually.
The project’s implementation will draw on international experience, particularly referencing Turkey’s MEXT Digital Skills Center and Singapore’s Digital Capability Center. Forecasts suggest that the application of this model will increase labor productivity by 15–30% and overall sector indicators by 10–30%.
