On September 22, the first Kick-Off meeting of the Azerbaijan Startup Community was held at the Azerbaijan Innovation Center. The event was attended by Taleh Karimov, Head of the Innovation Department at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Jamal Agayev, Head of the Startup Support Department, Asif Ibrahimov, CEO of KidFi startup, as well as more than 50 local startup founders.
The meeting opened with a speech by the community’s founder, Fehruz Jabrayilov, who informed participants about the purpose of establishing the community and its expected contributions to the Azerbaijani startup ecosystem. Later, during the panel discussion, participants raised questions about the challenges faced in this field and possible solutions were addressed.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Startup Community prioritizes bringing together local startup founders, fostering networking opportunities, and contributing to the ecosystem as a unified platform.
