An updated version of the "mygov" digital government platform was presented

The official presentation day of the updated "mygov" digital government platform took place on September 17, 2024. Executives of state and private institutions, media representatives and field experts took part in the event.

Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov, who opened the event with an opening speech, drew attention to the advantages of the updated platform:
Through "mygov", citizens can access and update their personal information, monitor important notifications and automate some processes related to life events with a few clicks. This fosters a more transparent and user-friendly digital government ecosystem, ensuring that citizens no longer need to spend time in physical offices or deal with cumbersome paperwork. In accordance with these goals, we aim to transfer 15% of physical services received by citizens to digital form by the end of the year.
Inara Valiyeva, chairman of the board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, spoke about the platform's mission and goals:
"When we set out on this path two years ago, our goal was to create a citizen-centric and user-friendly platform, to provide a sustainable and reliable approach. Today, we present a flexible and efficient digital government that simplifies the lives of our citizens and makes services and information available. In addition to building long-term technological solutions, we are developing rapidly by adapting international experience to local conditions. 'mygov' is not just a platform, but a symbol of support and care for our citizens"
In the continuation of the event, an extensive presentation was made by Rashad Khalikov, the deputy chairman of the board of Innovation and Digital Development Agency. In the presentation, he gave information about the new services and benefits provided by the "mygov" platform.
Thus, in the updated version, the documentation process related to important life events such as starting a family, becoming a parent, and the death of a close relative has been simplified. Digital submission of necessary documents for marriage, online registration of new born children and registration of death of a family member are now possible through the platform.
In the "mygov" application, more than 40 pieces of information are placed in the "my information" section. In addition, documents such as identity cards, marriage, birth and death certificates are presented in digital form. Citizens can share these digital documents and information as QR codes or PDFs. In the "mygov" mobile application, it is possible to get acquainted with the history of shared data and see when and with which institution and enterprise it was shared. At the same time, the management of the permission of the citizens of the personal data requested by the institutions was ensured.
In the updated version, through the improved search system, notification module and application function, citizens can connect with government services more quickly and transparently. At the same time, services such as a list of electric charging points, changing utility subscription codes, a pension calculator, and citizen admission to local executive authorities have been activated on the platform.
It should be noted that at the end of the presentation, a question-and-answer session was organized for media representatives. The questions of the participants of the event were answered by the management of IRIA.
