Apple stops accepting payments in Russia

Apple has announced that it has stopped processing payments for the App Store and other media services in Russia. The company said that starting April 1, 2026, digital purchases and subscriptions will no longer be accepted in the country, and this may also affect active subscriptions for existing users. If a user does not have enough funds in their Apple account, new purchases, in-app payments, and subscription renewals will not be possible. The decision applies to services such as the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and iCloud+. The company noted that users with funds in their balance will be able to use the services until that amount is exhausted.
