Aykut Karaalioğlu's startup in Silicon Valley has "exited"

Founded in 2013 by Aykut Karaalioğlu and based in San Francisco, MobileAction has been acquired by InMobi, a global advertising technology platform. The startup, which develops AI-powered app analytics solutions, focuses primarily on accelerating the growth of apps in the iOS ecosystem.

MobileAction provides app developers and marketers with a variety of tools to increase visibility, optimize ad performance, and strengthen the user acquisition process. The platform is actively used by major companies such as Google, Meta, DoorDash, Square, Zalando, Playtika, and Priceline. The company’s database contains more than 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, and hundreds of thousands of advertiser data.

With the acquisition, InMobi plans to further strengthen the position of its advertising business, InMobi Advertising, in the iOS ecosystem. The company also aims to integrate MobileAction’s technologies with its consumer platform Glance. InMobi announced that it will allocate additional investments for MobileAction’s product development and expansion into global markets. The US, APAC and MENA regions are among the top priority markets.

Aykut Karaalioglu, founder and CEO of MobileAction, called the deal the beginning of a new era for the company. According to him, the combination of a data-driven approach and a culture of innovation will create greater opportunities for global marketers.

After the deal is completed, MobileAction will continue to operate as an independent platform. The company's teams in the US, Europe and Turkey will be integrated into the InMobi structure.
