Corpowid, founded by Azerbaijanis, won more than 2 million TL in Turkey
In the traditional BigBang Startup Challenge competition organized by Istanbul Technical University ITU Ari Teknokent, which was selected as the best university incubation center in the world, Corpowid Digital Accessibility Solutions, founded by Azerbaijanis, was selected from more than 7,400 startups and qualified for the Grand Final, where 50 companies were represented. The innovative solutions presented by the company, which performed in front of Turkey's largest holdings in the final, were met with great interest. As a result, Corpowid, which was selected as the 7th startup with the most support, won more than 2 million Turkish Liras in cash and prizes. It should be noted that last year, the 40 startups that reached the final of this prestigious competition received 71 million US dollars in investment with a market value of 392 million US dollars in 2024.
Corpowid is a technology startup company that provides digital accessibility solutions. Currently, 96% of the world's internet resources are inaccessible to more than 1 billion people in the world. The company's special software, supported by artificial intelligence, is easily integrated into any website and makes sites accessible to people with vision, hearing, dyslexia, epilepsy, Parkinson's, cognitive motor diseases and other age-related limitations.
Corpowid began its activities in 2024 and already serves more than 100 clients in 5 countries. It won the Discovery of the Year nomination at the prestigious IDDA Awards held by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and won the Social Responsibility and Society category of the Netty 2024 National Internet Award.
