Azerbaijani students completed an internship at the space center in the UAE

Azerbaijani students participated in the internship program held at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the support of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development and the organization of the KOSMIC Academy operating under Azercosmos, a group of students participated in training and practical experience sessions at this prestigious center.
Within the framework of the week-long program, students performed tasks on solving various technical problems and worked on scientific research under the guidance of MBRSC specialists. During the program, they gained extensive knowledge on topics such as space and aerospace analog systems, information security, computer and electronic engineering, astronaut training, and remote control systems. They also gained practical skills related to important projects such as the UAE Moon Program and the UAE Mars Mission.
It should be especially emphasized that Azerbaijani students met Nora Almatroushi, the first female astronaut of the Arab world, and participated in her master class, which gave them a unique experience.
The purpose of this internship program is to develop young specialists of Azerbaijan in the space industry, to ensure their participation in international projects and to expand the potential of our country in this field.
At the end, the students were awarded with certificates and graduated from the program.
