SOCAR Turkey's Sustainability Roadmap has been approved.
SOCAR Turkey CEO Elchin Ibadov said this at a press conference reporting on SOCAR Turkey and group companies.
According to him, more than 10 sustainability projects have been prepared.
"The main goal is to produce sustainable jet fuel. This fuel can be produced either from algae or from household oils. At the same time, research is being conducted in this direction," he said.
It should be noted that SOCAR, Turkey's largest foreign investor, has invested a total of 18.5 billion US dollars in Turkey over 17 years.
