While the number of monthly active users was about 25 million in November, this figure exceeded 30 million in December. Thus, the platform's audience has increased by 5 million people in just one month.
Grok is an artificial intelligence-based chatbot developed by Elon Musk's company xAI. It is distinguished by its "rebellious" style of humor and the ability to access information from the social network X (formerly Twitter) in real time. This feature allows Grok to quickly answer relevant questions.
In addition to searching for information on the Internet, Grok can also generate texts, program codes and images based on user requests. These capabilities make it a competitor to ChatGPT and other similar artificial intelligence chatbots.
Grok was first launched in November 2023. Later, Grok-2, Grok-3 and Grok-4 versions were introduced. Although Elon Musk called the Grok 4-Heavy version “the smartest AI yet” last fall, the company is reportedly working on a more powerful update.
